PROJECT 2

Perspective Renderings

DESCRIPTION
For project 2 we are creating freehand pencil sketches where we build-in one-point perspective. These are loose, analytical drawings where we find out how to structure the image through placement of horizontal, vertical and convergence lines. This will also help us build a HIERARCHY OF LINE WEIGHTS. Lightly sketch your guidelines and then draw in the actual forms with a heavier more defined line.

The second part of this assignment has us recreating the same drawing but with HARD LINE. This just means use your straight edge to place the lighter guidelines, then, also using a straight edge, lean on your pencil to create the defining lines.

In addition, we will be rebuilding the drawings digitally in Adobe Illustrator. This will help us to reinforce our understanding and our vocabulary of rendering.
